Edward Parker-Jervis

Edward Parker-Jervis has worked in the telecom industry for over 20 years, most notably with COLT from its beginning in 1993 (12 people) until 2003 when COLT was an established alternate operator with networks worldwide, major operations in 13 countries across Europe and over €1.5 billion in revenues. His role was one of driving the network growth of the company, including strategy, design, planning and implementation. Since 2003 Ed has been an independent professional consultant offering commercially focused network and technical consulting services to clients in the telecoms service provider and supplier sectors as well as the associated venture capital tech. sector.

He has worked on projects in Saudi Arabia and Oman with us - acting as deputy CTO in major deployments of WiMAX and FTTH/X with investments of up to $1 billion.

Prior to COLT Ed worked for Cable and Wireless both in the UK (Mercury) and for various C&W locations in the Middle East and Caribbean.

Ed holds an Honours B.A. in Engineering Science from St. Catherine's College, Oxford. He is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
